Merry Christmas!!

We had a wonderful holiday season. Christmas is our favorite time of the year and since the boys are getting older, we are enjoying it more and more. Hayden and Ian understand the meaning of Christmas and can celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. We are so blessed to have a healthy and happy family. We hope that are family and friends are healthy and find happiness in the coming year. Merry Christmas!!

Making a gingerbread house with the boys was so much fun!

Mr. Biggs Family Fun Center

We decided to go to a family fun center on Christmas Eve. The boys were thrilled to have the center to themselves. There were no lines for the bumper carts and they could go on as many times as they wanted. We had a blast!

The boys finally sat down for one minute to take a picture with me before running off.

The boys love the bouncy houses and there were a lot of them.

We played miniture golf for the first time and Hayden really worked hard to get the ball in everytime. Ian would go right up to the hole and bump it in and then laugh.

The boys loved Little Bigg Town. They have over 16 different shops and attractions such as a bakery, pet shop, fire station, schoolyard, the BIGGEST sand pit in the Springs, free video games, a sunken pirate ship, a reading room, a beauty shop, and more!

They especially enjoyed being firefighters.

Chef Hayden here. Can I take your order?

Christmas Program at Ian's Preschool

We learned about celebrations around the world at Ian's preschool. The children sang christmas songs, gave presents to the teachers, and ate yummy cookies to celebrate the season.

Ian was giving silly expressions.

Ian loves sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles.

At the foot of Pike's Peak is an amusement park called the North Pole. The boys loved all the rides, going into all the old fashioned toy shops, and seeing Santa Claus.

Getting ready for Christmas and spreading holiday cheer.

Here is Hayden and Ian giving brotherly love in their new Christmas pajamas.

Brothers for life!

Everyone was able to let Santa know what they wanted for Christmas.

Hayden wrote his first Dear Santa letter and wanted to put it in Santa's mailbox. Ian had help writing his letter to Santa.

We visited the historic Old Colorado City to visit Santa Claus and do some window shopping.

A Very Snowy Weekend

We received only a couple of inches of snow Saturday, but today we have about 12 inches of snow.

Here is Pete shoveling snow off the driveway.

Hayden and Ian had a snowball fight and even nailed me a couple of times.

Hayden made lots of snow angels.

Hayden and Taffy hangin in the backyard.

The snow did not keep the boys from playing with their trucks outside.
